Poem: Ceaseless Prayer
What is the point of discipleship
if not to live truthfully
in the Divine Presence?
To saturate ourself
ourselves with Scripture that we
might dwell in the Word
That centeredness might
well up as sacred stories
claim our hearts and minds.
The fullness of soul
might spills over into
faith and hope and love.
So the way of prayer
might not be confined
to candled moments at dawn.
